help our research!

We need you. We are also publishing a book about worldwide magazine culture, and are carrying out a survey to help with our research. The more responses we get, the more comprehensive our book will be. Makes sense, don't you think?

Please take five minutes to fill in this short questionnaire, and then forward the link on to as many people as possible within our community. We all love magazine culture. Help us to know more about yours.

call for entries (1): photography, illustration & graphic design

Calling all creatives! Photographers, Illustrators and Graphic Designers, both professionals and students, can show their work at the PORTFOLIO SHOW. In this networking series, creatives will have an excellent opportunity to show their work on a large projection wall and to add comments, if they so chose. Each one hour session will present 10 talents for 5 minutes each. The sessions will focus on either illustration, photography or graphic design, either by professionals or by students. The audience will be given an index with the contacts of the artists who are presenting. Our organization will select the participants on a monthly basis from August 2006 to January 2007. If you are a creative and are planning to visit Colophon2007 (and why wouldn't you?), don't miss out on a golden opportunity to present your work to our audience. Read more and register now.

call for entries (2): magazines

In Colophon's Room with a view, the stunning “aquarium” of the Casino Luxembourg - forum d'art contemporain overlooking the Petrusse Valley will be temporarily turned into a magazine store and library. Read on the premises, browse, borrow, buy or be given a selection of some of the best magazines from all over the world. We invite all magazines to register here so as to be part of the symposium. Any magazine not sold or not given away by the end of the festival will be placed on sale in our partner stores.
